For 2011, the Seattle Sikh Retreat has been reborn as "Kudarat." Kudarat's mission is to explore the Divine within ourselves and all Creation. Our programs instill confidence and self-awareness in individuals through learning a Guru-oriented lifestyle, within a fun, natural setting.
This year we're focusing on exploring art in Sikhi, and how self-expression leads to deeper and more significant understanding of fundamental Sikh principles. We are featuring workshops that explore and help develop different aspects of this theme, including painting, drawing, writing, poetry, Gurbani, Gatka, Kirtan, rap, music, business, etc. We're also focusing on consciousness raisers, so that people leave the retreat with a deeper appreciation of the art contained within Gurbani.
Sikhi, sports, gurbani, kirtan, and sangat. What more could you ask for? Yes the Seattle Sikh Retreat is back in full effect 2011! Register now.
