Speaker '08: Inderpreet Singh

[Keynote] We are proud to announce that Inderpreet Singh will be our keynote speaker this year. Inderpreet Singh is a Technology professional currently working for a multinational high-tech firm as Director of Emerging Technologies. His passion is Sikhi and Panthak related community projects and is heavily involved with Sikh youth camps, retreats and conferences where he conducts seminars, lectures and interactive workshops on Gurmat related topics. Inderpreet Singh is an active volunteer and member of the Advisory Board of the Sikh Research Institute. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Sikh Scholarship Foundation.

Manmeet Singh, speaker

Speaker '08: Manmeet Singh

Manmeet is the producer for the Award Winning Film The Widow Colony, a Sach Productions presentation directed by Harpreet Kaur. He is currently working on a film that deals with farmer suicides and the current crisis in Panjab. He has worked with Shabana Azmi, Gurdas Mann, Pammi Bai and other professionals in the entertainment industry. Manmeet's been going to Panjab for the last 6 years working with various NGOs and political parties to addresses pressing social, economic and cultural issues dealing with the Sikhs and present these issues at an international level via film. Manmeet is also a musician who believes in reviving the Sikh musical tradition and plays the sarod, rabab, sarangi, jori & peti. Manmeet's kirtan style is influenced by the robust rababi tradition and he is a great admirer of Late Bhai Dilbag Singh Ji.
