If you are flying in...

Your flight must arrive Friday, May 23 BEFORE 4pm and leave Monday, May 26 AFTER 2pm.

We will arrange transportation to Camp Burton, which is less than an hour away from the airport, SEA - Seattle Tacoma Intl Airport. So please try to arrive at the specified times.

If you are driving...

You must reach the campsite by 5:30 pm on Friday and plan to leave around noon on Monday.

Driving Directions

Camp Burton (http://www.campburton.com) is located on beautiful Vashon Island, a pleasant surprise tucked away from the rest of the world. It's a 15 minute ferry ride from West Seattle, Tacoma, or the Kitsap Peninsula, WA.

From Seattle - Fauntleroy Ferry

From I-5 take the West Seattle Bridge Exit (#163). Cross the West Seattle Bridge and follow signs to the Vashon Ferry. The street will become Fauntleroy Avenue, which takes you directly to the ferry dock. It is past Lincoln Park on the right-hand side. If there is a line for the ferry pull behind the other cars at the end of the line - do not cut in line! See 1 & 2 below.

From the Kitsap Penninsula - Southworth Ferry

On Highway 16, take the Sedgewick Road Exit and follow to the Southworth Ferry Dock. See 1 & 2 below.

From Tacoma - Pt. Defiance Ferry

From I-5 take the Highway 16 Exit West (south of Tacoma Dome and north of Tacoma Mall.) Get off Highway at 6th Avenue Exit. Take a left at the light onto 6th Avenue. Take the next right at the light onto Pearl Street. Follow Pearl Street to the ferry dock (about 3 miles.) Purchase a round trip ticket at the toll booth. When you dock on Vashon Island, turn left onto Vashon Island Highway. Follow about 5 miles to a flashing red light. Turn right at this light onto S.W. Burton Drive. See 2 below.

1. Purchase a roundtrip ticket to Vashon Island at the toll booth. When you dock at Vashon Island, you will exit the ferry and be on the Vashon Island Highway. Follow this road for about 9 miles. Along the way you will pass through 4 flashing red lights. At the 4th flashing red light, turn left onto S.W. Burton Drive.

2. Follow for 1/3 mile; turn right onto S.W. Bayview Drive. Follow another 1/3 mile and you will see green Camp Burton entrance sign to your left. Drive past this sign, and you will see another sign on your right for Burton lodge. Make a right, as registration will be inside Burton Lodge.
